Safety tips
RoLivo filters obvious abuse automatically, but the best protection in any anonymous chat is knowing what to watch for.
Never share personal information
Full name, address, phone number, workplace, passwords, or anything financial. Nobody legitimate needs these to have a conversation with you.
Be careful with photos
Don't send or accept photos from strangers. Images can be used to identify you, and there's no way to verify who's actually on the other end of the chat.
Watch for common scam patterns
Requests for gift cards, links to "claim a prize," investment or crypto pitches, and sudden declarations of affection followed by a request for money are all textbook scams — not exceptions.
Block and Report, don't negotiate
If someone crosses a line, you don't owe them a conversation about it. Use the options menu next to their name in the sidebar — Block removes them from your view instantly, Report flags them for review.
Trust your gut
If a conversation feels off, leave it. You don't need a reason, an explanation, or a goodbye message.
Nobody's identity is verified
RoLivo doesn't verify who anyone actually is — nicknames, age, and claims about who someone is are entirely self-reported. Treat every stranger as exactly that, regardless of what they say about themselves.
For parents and guardians
RoLivo is intended for ages 13 and up, and has no identity or age verification beyond that self-reported minimum — the same is true of most anonymous chat platforms. If a minor in your household uses sites like this, supervision is on you, not the platform.
